CSBC Bihar Constable Selection 2023

All the aspirants except Reserved/Unreserved & Home Guard posts candidates for getting select for the post need to qualify in the written exam conducted by the Board. The marks of this written exam will not be applicable in the final selection of the candidates. This exam is conducted only for the selection of the candidates for the next levels which is the PST (Physical Standard Test)/ PET (Physical Efficiency Test). In this written exam, the aspirants unable to score more than 30% of marks will not get qualify for next levels.

CSBC Bihar Constable Exam Pattern 2023

• The exam carries the objective type of questions with multiple choice options.
• Totaquestionsestion will ask for the exam.
• 3 marks carry for each question.
• Total 300 marks will be there for the CSBC Excise Constable 2023 Exam.
• Aspirants have to complete their exam in total one and a half hour.

Bihar Constable Male/Female Physical Standard Test(PST)-

Height –

• Aspirants of General Category should have 165 cms of height.
• Candidates of OBC category should have 162 cms of Height.
• SC/ ST categorized aspirants must have 160 cms of height.
• Female candidates should have 155 cms of height according to the Board.

Chest-

Conditions applied for Male candidates only.

For General and OBC Category candidates

• Expanded- 86 cms
• Without Expanded- 81 cms

SC/ ST category candidates

• Expanded- 84cms
• Without Expanded- 79 cms

Bihar Constable Male/Female Physical Efficiency Test (PET)-

In this test candidates, physical efficiency will test. This PET exam is for total 100 marks. This exam is divided into three parts as racing, throw ball test/ गोला फेंक and High jump. For Racing 50 marks, for throw ball 25 marks and for high jump 25 marks. Total 100 marks exam.

1.Racing:

For male candidates-

• Candidates have to finish 1.6 kilometers of race in 6 minutes.
• The one who finishes in 5 minutes will get 50 marks.
• The candidate who is able to finish the race in 5 minutes 20 seconds will get 40 marks.
• Aspirants who are able to finish the race in 5 min 20 seconds to 5 minutes 40 seconds will get 30 marks.
• Applicants who finish their race by 5 minutes 40 seconds to 6 minutes will get 20 marks.
• The aspirants who will take more than 6 minutes time to complete the race will be disqualified.

All the Female Candidates-

• Candidates have to finish 1 kilometer of race in 6 minutes.
• The one who finishes in 5 minutes will get 50 marks.
• The candidate who is able to finish the race in 5 minutes 20 seconds will get 40 marks.
• Aspirants who are able to finish the race in 5 min 20 seconds to 5 minutes 40 seconds will get 30 marks.
• Applicants who finish their race by 5 minutes 40 seconds to 6 minutes will get 20 marks.
• The aspirants who will take more than 6 minutes time to complete the race will be disqualified.

2.Throw Ball Test-

For Male candidates-

Candidates have to throw the 16 pounds ball minimum 16 feet away.

• The candidate who is able to throw the ball at 16 feet to 17 feet will get 9 marks.
• 13 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 17-18 feet.
• 17 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 18-19 feet.
• 21 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 19 to 20 feet.
• 25 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 20 feet.

For Female Aspirants–

Candidates have to throw the 12 pounds ball minimum 10 feet away.

• 9 marks will be given for the aspirants who throw the ball 10-11 feet.
• 13 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 11-12 feet.
• 17 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 12-13 feet.
• 21 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 13-14 feet.
• 25 marks will get for the candidates who throw the ball more than 14 feet.

3.High Jump-

Male candidates- Minimum 4 feet

• 13 marks for 4 to 4 feet four inch.
• 17 marks for 4 feet to 4 ft 8 inch
• 21 marks 4 ft 8 inches to 5 feet
• 25 marks for more than 5 feet.

Female candidates- Minimum 3 feet.

• 13 marks for3 to 3 feet four inch.
• 17 marks for 3 feet to 3 ft 8 inch
• 21 marks 3 ft 8 inches to 4 feet
• 25 marks for more than 4 feet.

After this Physical Efficiency Test candidates will be selected depending on their marks in the three tests as race test, high jump test, and throw ball test. The candidates who qualify in this test will move forward to the next level of selection which is the Medical exam.

Bihar Constable Medical Examination

Medical Examination conducted for all the candidates who qualify in the physical efficiency test. In this medical exam, physical fitness of the aspirants will be tested. The following tests commenced in this medical examination.

• Eye Test.
• Colour Blindness.
• Hearing Aid.
• Flat Foot Test
• Speech Test.

After qualifying in the medical examination the aspirants will call for document verification. Hence candidates have to carry the documents at the time of the document verification.
