Railway Recruitment Cell is about to release the official notification for the fulfillment of vacant positions in the Grade C & Grade D cadre. The graduation level and officer level posts such as Ticket Collector, Junior Engineer, Senior Section Engineer & all such posts come under the Group C cadre has to be filled with a well technically knowledged candidate by conducting an examination and the other posts such as cleaner, helper, safai-wala, safai wali, peon, etc comes under the Group D cadre. RRC WR CST Mumbai Railway Recruitment Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:-
The aspirants interested in applying for the above vacancies must have to qualify in Intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks from any of the recognized boards for the Group C posts. For the post of Group D, applicants must qualify in SSC with good marks from any of the recognized boards. For Officers posts, candidates must have to qualify for UG/PG courses to apply. Aspirants of BE/ B.Tech are also eligible to apply for the vacancies.
Age Limit:-
Interested aspirants to apply for the above vacancies must be between 18 to 28 years of age. Candidates born before 02-01-1990 and after 01-01-2000 cannot apply for the group c posts. For the Group D posts aspirants must have their age limit between 18 to 31 years of age. The aspirants who born before 02-01-2984 and after 01-01-2000 cannot apply for the Group C posts.
Age relaxation is applicable according to the Government as follows-
- 5 years for SC/ST.
- 3 years of OBC candidates.
- 10 years for the physically handicapped candidates.
Selection Procedures-
Candidates’ selection for the above post depends on the performance of the candidates in the written exam and online skill assessment test.
Examination Application Fee –
- General & OBC category candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs.500/-.
- Aspirants of SC/ ST/ Ex-serviceman/ Persons with disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward classes need to pay Rs.250/- as their exam fee.
This exam fee must be paid using online mode of the application using internet banking, credit or debit cards.
