The HPPRB (Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board) is the organization which has planned for the constable post recruitment for both male and female candidates. The PST is the test where the candidate’s height, weight & chest (only Male) matters. The PET is the test where the efficiency or capability of the candidate will be checked by conducting the race. As per the rules of PST, the height of male applicants should be 170 cms minimum and for female candidates, it can be 157 cms. The weight as per the normal medical standards and the chest dimensions (only applicable to male) should be 80 cms when not expanded and after expansion, it should not be less than 85 cms. While coming to PET, the race for male candidates is 5km in 24 minutes and for female, it will be 1.6 km in 8 min 30 seconds.
