Eligibility for JAC Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2024

Educational Qualification:

For Level I (For Class I-V)

• The aspirants must have the Sr Secondary or its equivalent qualification. The candidates must score at least 45% marks and passed or appearing the 2 years Diploma In Elementary Education. or
• The contenders must be passed the Sr Secondary or its equivalent qualification. The candidates must score at least 50% marks and passed or appearing the 4 years B.El.Ed Courses. or
• The applicants must have the Sr Secondary or its equivalent qualification. The candidates must score at least 50% marks and passed or appearing the 2 years Diploma in Special Education.

For Level II (Class VI-VIII):

• The aspirants must be passed the Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Bachelor Education) or
• The candidates must have the Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Bachelor in Special Education)
• The contenders must have the Sr Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50 % marks and 4 years B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed Courses.

Application Fee:

• The Gen/OBC candidates can pay the application fee For both Papers Rs 500/-
• The SC/ST category candidates can pay the application fee for both papers Rs 250/-

The board may conduct the JAC Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 in the month of November. The candidates can check the Jharkhand TET Syllabus and previous papers.
