Prelims Exam Pattern for IBPS PO 

• The IBPS PO 10 prelims paper consists of the objective type (multiple choice answers) of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and the maximum marks of 100.
• The exam total duration of 1 hour and is conducted in online mode.
• There is negative marking in the IBPS PO pre-exam and 0.25 (1/4) marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
• Postulants must clear the cut-off in all 3 sections to crack the IBPS PO exam. The section-wise details are given as follows:

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2024

This is also objective type questions and the paper contains 200 questions for 200 marks. Each carries 1 marks and there will be negative marking as well with each wrong answer leading to the deduction (minus) of 0.25 marks. From this year onward, there are a few changes in the IBPS PO main exam pattern. While the IBPS PO exam will have the same 5 sections but there is a specified time limit for attempting each of the five parts. The candidate can’t skip to the next section before the time allotted to the current section.
