CBSE CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Education Requirements for Teachers from Class I-V –
- The applicants can have the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with min 50% of marks. The candidate studying the final year D.El.Ed is eligible to apply for the CTET 2024.
- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Diploma in Education with at least 50% marks and the candidate appearing in the final year of 2- year exams.
Qualification Required for the Teacher from Class VI-VIII –
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- The candidates passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/ B.El.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed.
